The Sound She Saw is a documentary film featuring contemporary, ground-breaking Black women photographers.
The film reveals the history & struggle of Black women photographers while showcasing and celebrating their work and answering the question:
What happens when a Black woman photographer has the agency and the control to reverse the gaze and see the world through her unique lens? The photographers featured in The Sound She Saw challenge the status quo by collectively redefining the narrative, image by image.

UN(RE)SOLVED is a multi-platform experience (documentary series, podcast) including an installation that acts as an interactive memorial for the victims of 150 unsolved racially motivated murders from the civil rights era.
Participants must speak victims’ names out loud in order to be able to view each victim’s story. Premiered in June 2021 online via Frontline/PBS.
The AR Installation premiered and was featured at Tribeca Film Festival, June 2021.

The M'Dear Project is a multi-media exhibition of paintings, sculpture, photography, textile art, video, audio/oral pieces and installations honoring the great Mother, the Matriarch, the feminine present throughout the diasporic community. Works in the exhibition seek to capture the essence and the power of the Great Mother, the nurturer, the negotiator, the inter-mediator and savior, The exhibit pushes the viewer to reconsider the wisdom, power and grace of M'Dear who's council is needed in this chaotic climate. She is essential and critical in the fight and preservation of our collective humanity.
